This toilet, though pleasing to look at, is not practical. It has a poor flush, often taking a couple of flushes to clear bowl. After 5 years use (light use at that as it is in the spare bathroom) the seat has began to creak and bang when first sitting on it, those who use it are on the light side so the seat is not under duress. It is noisy enough if used during the night to wake people in a adjoining bedroom. Cannot recommend

Reply: We are sorry to hear about disappointment with the Toto Le Muse Toilet Suite that you purchased from Plumbing World five years ago. We are pleased to share with you two bits of good news. Firstly, the flushing volume can be increased on every flush by up to 1 extra litre. You should use a plumber to make this adjustment. The toilet is set up at 4.5/3L flush initially to achieve the water efficiency standard. Adjusting the toilet will make it less water efficient, but it may solve the problem you are experiencing which can be caused by pipework flowing from the toilet. Secondly, the toilet seat is still covered by the Toto 10 year warranty and therefore we are able to provide you a new seat. Please visit your local Plumbing World branch, along with your purchase details, and the branch will gladly sort out a replacement seat for you.
