I had fitted 2 of these bars -- one into tiles in the bathroom and one into wall board in the toilet. I find the weight of a small hand towel is too much for both rails so that they will not stay horizontal to the wall., but develop a lean down towards the floor. The shorter version for the toilet roll works perfectly. The length of the towel rail is the problem -- too much weight for the design.

Reply: Thanks again for your patience as we reviewed the product for you. Because the product has two fixing points, we are surprised that it is drooping – the two fixing points mean that it should stay firmly in place. There are a couple of possibilities: 1. The grub screw that connects the towel bar to the actual fixings is not tightly screwed on and is allowing the bar to slip. This can be fixed by using an allen key to tighten the grub screw to the fixing points. 2. Is it possible that the product has not been secured with the supplied rawl plug and screwed into timber? In terms of providing a solution for you, is it possible to reinstall the towel bar in a position where it has timber support? If the wall covering is such that there is not enough length in the screw, we suggest you replace the supplied screws and rawl plugs with a 50mm length. On review of the product design and consideration that some installation situations may require a longer screw length, we have decided to make a running change to include 50mm long screws in all future production runs.
